A Zoning Verification Letter is a letter MPC Staff drafts that verifies current zoning and past site history of requested properties. Zoning Verification request are completed 1-2 business days.


APPLICATION INFORMATION

For Online Applications:

  1. Logon to www.MGOconnect.org.
    • Select Apply Online for Planning and Zoning on left side of page.  
    • When selecting an Application Type, choose "Zoning Verification Request".
    • Ensure all items from the checklist are included in your application. Refer to the Application Checklist section on the right side of this page.
    • Once submitted you will receive a confirmation message and application number (i.e. APP-MPC-####). MPC staff will review the application. You will be contacted for additional information or to progress to the next step.
  2. Submit Payment.
    • Once you have received your invoice, you may submit payment through the online portal. 
    • Locate the Dashboard, then select Open next to the case number that matches the case number in your invoice. For example (26-1-C).
    • Payment can be submitted in person on the first floor of Government Plaza at the cashier window.

  3. Receive your Zoning Verification Letter.
    • You will receive a Zoning verification letter 1-2 days after the application has been submitted.
