A permit is required in order to erect, construct, alter, or relocate a sign in the City of Shreveport and planning limits of Caddo Parish.


APPLICATION INFORMATION

For Online Applications:

  1. Logon to www.MGOconnect.org
    • Select Apply Online for Planning and Zoning on left side of page.  
    • When selecting an Application Type, choose "Sign Permit".
    • Ensure all items from the checklist are included in your application. Refer to the Application Checklist section on the right side of this page.
    • Once submitted you will receive a confirmation message and application number (i.e. APP-MPC-####). MPC staff will review the application. You will be contacted for additional information or to progress to the next step.
  2. Submit Payment.
    • Once you have received your invoice, you may submit payment through the online portal. 
    • Locate the Dashboard, then select Open next to the case number that matches the case number in your invoice. For example (26-1-SONC).
    • Payment can be submitted in person on the first floor of Government Plaza at the cashier window.

  3. Await Zoning Inspector Approval.
    • At this time, the Zoning Inspector assigned to your case will review your application.
    • You will be contacted if staff have any questions or comments
    • Once the Zoning Inspector has completed your application, you will receive an email with a copy of your sign permit.
    • You may now begin work on your sign.
